I wanted to share an outfit I’ve been loving lately and will miss once its snow season! I’ve shared this dress and these boots before and love both with oversized cardigans like this one. Boots and oversized cardigans will be staples for the next couple of months and I’m okay with that!
This past weekend my parents flew here from Colombia to spend my birthday weekend with me! I also met up with friends on Saturday to celebrate both mine and my fiance’s birthday; his is three days after mine!
I’ve been nervous about turning 25 because I’ve always felt like its a big milestone age with a lot of expectations. And while I’ve considered myself an adult and on my own for years, the whole “quarter of a century” thing makes it seem more real. I will say that it is also pretty hard to believe that I’m only half way through my 20s! My 20th birthday seems like it was decades ago and my life is very different than it once was. This past weekend I was hanging out with my best friend/ MOH who has celebrated my birthday with me for the past five years and while we’ve both changed so much, its really reassuring to have someone I’ve been able to confide in over the years. 24 was definitely my favorite year as an adult so far, but I’m so excited to be the age I’ll be when I say I do!

I turned 24 a few months ago, and the ONLY think I could think about was how I am almost 25. I totally agree. It has made me nervous too, since it seems like such a “grown up” number/age. It is definitely scary how quickly time flies once we’re in our twenties! I hope you had a great birthday and I hope you have an even better year! <3
